Bainbridge Vet Supplies New Empire Headquarters

With over 96 years of manufacturing heritage, Bainbridge is one of Australia’s longest serving manufacturers and market leading suppliers to the veterinary and rural supplies field. Bainbridge Head Office made the move from Murarrie Brisbane in late 2018 after Douglas Constructions built them a custom 2,770 SQM building with 2,400SQM warehouse and 370 SQM two level office space.

“We struggled to find land within Brisbane’s Trade Coast Precinct that met our requirements while other areas were too far from the Port of Brisbane. We had the aim to purpose build our new office and warehouse with a view of growing into the site over the long term and need access to the critical infrastructure that support our growth ambitions.” Peter Williamson, Managing Director of Bainbridge Vet Supplies said.

Bainbridge Vet Supplies is an Australia wide supplier and have a significant export business. “Empire Industrial Estate is not just strategically located from a transport perspective, but also features superior access to large employment catchments in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Redlands and Logan local government areas. The added benefits of being in close proximity to the growing Flagstone residential area (150,000 people) and the future Bromelton integrated intermodal rail freight facility (Australia’s only inland rail port on the National Standard Gauge Rail Line) were important. Empire Industrial Estate features a central location that provides access to critical infrastructure that will benefit our business over the long term.” Peter explains.

Bainbridge employ 14 staff at the National Head Office. Bainbridge purchased a 1.064 HA site and plan to expand in the future into the additional land purchased.
